dragon fruit, half a banana, one scoop, ice. forty seconds in the blender and it's a pink breakfast that happens to carry 25 grams of protein. nobody at the table needs to know that part.
vanilla is the one to use here. chocolate fights the fruit.
what you need
- 150g dragon fruit (pitaya), fresh or frozen
- half a banana
- 1 scoop (35g) naturally, vanilla protein
- a handful of ice
- 200ml coconut water, water or milk of choice
how to make it
- Add the liquid to the blender first, then the fruit, the scoop and the ice.
- Blend for about forty seconds, until smooth.
- Taste. If you want it sweeter, add the other half of the banana.
- Pour and drink straight away.

a few notes
frozen dragon fruit gives you a thicker smoothie and you can skip some of the ice. the red-fleshed fruit is what gives the colour. white-fleshed works, it's just paler.
one scoop is 35g of powder and 25g of protein, with 140 calories, 3g net carbs and 0.34g of sugar. those numbers are printed on the back of every pack.
made with naturally, vanilla. if you're new to us, the 250g bag is a week of these.
